Roger Federer has decided to take a big break after stunning the tennis community following his triumphs in Melbourne, Indian Wells, and Miami.
Roger is skipping the entire clay court season, but he hasn’t renounced to play some matches for charity. After facing Andy Murray in Geneva (Roger raised $1.4 million), the Swiss Legend head all the way to Seattle to play a single and a double for charity.
Roger faced Isner in singles (he won 6-4 7-6), and he played doubles with a rather illustrious partner: Bill Gates.
The most important outcome of the event was that they have managed to raise over $2 million for his Foundation that helps children in Africa.
Next step…. the French Open or the grass court season?
