Maria Sharapova is about to stage her comeback among controversy after her 15 months’ ban. The Russian beauty has received many wildcards from various tournaments, and that wasn’t received very well from many that think that Maria needs to earn her way back in the rankings.
The big question mark is if the slams will also concede a wildcard to Sharapova. According to The Telegraph, Maria will receive a wildcard only for the qualifications, not for the main draw. If this is true, the wildcard might also be useless because Maria if Maria has good results in Stuttgart, Madrid, and Rome, she will not need it.
The Roland Garros will disclose its decision on May the 15th. Probably Wimbledon will have an easier task ahead.
