Jannik Sinner spoke openly during his press conference in Beijing about the arrival of his new physiotherapist, Alejandro Resnicoff. The Italian star, currently preparing for the ATP500 event, highlighted the importance of building trust and continuity within his support team. Resnicoff, who has spent over a decade on the ATP Tour, joins Sinner’s camp with a wealth of experience and a reputation for professionalism.

Respecting the team dynamic

Sinner emphasized that Resnicoff’s integration has been smooth and respectful of existing routines. “He is a very experienced physiotherapist, having been on the ATP Tour for about 15 years. He respects the way we work as a team—he doesn’t arrive and change everything, but if he sees something that could potentially improve my body, he is there to help. That’s how it works.” The approach reflects Sinner’s preference for gradual adaptation rather than abrupt changes.

Familiarity and trust

The relationship between Sinner and Resnicoff isn’t entirely new. The two had worked together briefly in the past, before Sinner had a dedicated physio. “I worked with him a little in the past when I didn’t yet have my own physio, not much. Now having him with me is a huge privilege,” Sinner said, underlining the value of continuity and shared understanding.

Balance and experience

Beyond technical expertise, Sinner praised Resnicoff’s character and lifestyle balance. “He is super experienced, very honest, kind, and respectful. He also has a family at home and a good balance outside of work,”

he added. The comments suggest that Sinner values not only professional skill but also the human qualities that contribute to a stable and supportive environment.

Positive signs ahead of competition

As Sinner prepares to compete in Beijing, he expressed confidence in the direction his team is heading. “Yes, everything is going in the right direction,” he concluded. With Resnicoff now fully integrated, Sinner hopes the added support will help him maintain peak physical condition through the demanding final stretch of the season.
