Something strange and extremely funny happened during the Sarasota Challenger during a match between Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Krueger.
Seeded no.3, Tiafoe was enjoying a very comfortable 6-3 3-2 lead while loud screams were heard coming from an unidentified female. Apparently, the screams were coming from an apartment close to the tennis court, and they could be heard by the entire crowd.
At a certain point, Tiafoe stopped the game shouting “It can’t be that good!”
Krueger tried to halt the couple by shooting a tennis ball in the direction of the apartment, but he failed to make the couple to stop.
The match commentator initially said that that noise was coming from a phone to acknowledge that “No, that’s not a phone, that’s an apartment across the lake. Oh my God.”
