On September 18, 2025, Jannik Sinner officially unveiled the “Jannik Sinner Foundation” during a heartfelt event in Milan. The initiative marks a significant moment in the tennis star’s journey, as he shifts focus from personal achievements to broader social impact. Surrounded by family, fellow athletes, and supporters, Sinner shared his vision for empowering children through access to education and structured sports programs.

A mission rooted in personal experience

Sinner spoke candidly about his own upbringing in northern Italy, where sport played a central role in shaping his character and ambitions. He emphasized the importance of community, mentorship, and opportunity in his development. “Every child deserves to be seen, supported and believed in. It’s an honour and a privilege to do my part in making that happen,” he said, reflecting on the values that inspired the foundation.

Focus on education and movement

The foundation’s core mission is to promote childhood education and physical activity, both in Italy and internationally. It will support programs that integrate play, movement, and structured sports into children’s daily lives. Sinner believes that sport is more than competition—it’s a tool for building confidence, resilience, and connection. “Imagine a world where every child has the tools to grow strong. In both body and mind,” he shared during the launch.

Building a team with purpose

The foundation is backed by a diverse team of trustees, including educators, coaches, and community leaders. Their goal is to create sustainable programs that reach underserved communities and foster long-term development. Sinner stressed the importance of collaboration and leadership with heart. “In sports – and life – a strong team makes all the difference,”

he noted, highlighting the collective effort behind the foundation’s launch.

A legacy beyond the court

While Sinner continues to compete at the highest level of tennis, the foundation signals his desire to leave a lasting impact beyond the sport. The Milan event was not just a celebration of a new organization—it was a call to action for athletes and public figures to use their platforms for good. With the “Jannik Sinner Foundation,” he hopes to inspire a generation of children to dream big, stay active, and believe in their potential.
