Schiavone vs. Sharapova
Francesca Schiavone has written one of the nicest pages in tennis history after she won the Roland Garros in 2010 after coming from absolutely from nowhere.
On the other side, Maria Sharapova has been at the center of one of the most shameful episodes In tennis history after she was banned for doping.
The result is that Francesca’s most important home tournament will not concede to the Italian a wildcard in what will be her last year on tour while they will grant one to Maria Sharapova.
These are not the values that tennis should follow. Tennis is more and more business, but we sincerely hope it won’t become like soccer.
Let’s preserve our values.
