Simona Halep on court is focussed on gaining her best form after a tentative start of the season. Off court, the Romanian is always ready to invest in interesting initiatives.
The last one involves funding a children’s hockey team in Romania (see source). Simona followed the proposal of Ion Tiriac that wants to launch a championship of ice hockey at the newly built facility in Otopeni (built by Tiriac).
Apparently, Tiriac with his foundation made several partnerships with schools and kindergartens in the area. Simona can definitely help to further the project.
