Nick Kyrgios and Roger Federer will clash in a blockbuster match in the Miami semi-final. Nick is widely expected to [sort of] take over Roger’s legacy, but the Maestro is not done yet, on the contrary, the Swiss is playing one of the best tennis of his amazing career.
Roger and Nick had to clash already in the Indian Wells quarters, but the Australian had to pull out before the match because of food poisoning.
Kyrgios’ simple plan
During an interview after his match against Zverev, Nick explained his simple plan
“He’s playing incredible at the moment. He’s had a great year. He obviously looks very healthy and is moving very, very good. I’m not going to think about it too much at the moment. I’m going to serve big and play big. That’s my game style that I’ve had success with, so that’s what I’m going to bring.”
Nick leads Roger 1-0 after he defeated Roger in Madrid a couple of years ago. This match is going to be a completely different beast.
