Elina Svitolina recently shared her love story with Gael Monfils with the world. She told how they met through Instagram and then fell in love and promised each other that they are not going to separate. She knew about Gael much but they did not talk much.
How Svitolina and Gael Monfils met?
Svitolina met Gael in Paris. She was with her friends in Paris and she shared photos on Instagram to which Gael replied and they fixed a date to meet each other. Once they met and spent some time together, they found that they cannot split anymore and that was the beginning of a terrific love story. The Ukranian born Elina lives in London while Gael lives in Geneva and it was a great coincidence that both met each other in Paris.
Both share a common Instagram account and as per Elina it going good so far, she says:
“It was his idea to do this, and I think it’s going good so far.”
They had shared a video after they opened their joint Instagram account and it pretty much explains why they have the account together. The video was captioned: “We swear, we kiss, we hug, we correspond, we speak, we argue, we laugh, we love … It’s all about us.”
Recently both did a photoshoot together and Elina was much happy with the experience. She says: “It was quite fun, I think. It was something different that we did together, and that’s why it was, I think, fun.”
Both Elina and Gael are enjoying togetherness doing many things together and they are loving it. They also like the fact that fans know what is going on behind the scenes through social media. Elina says:
“So I think it’s nice to share, nice to — yeah, to just share our life. And now, these days, social media is such a big thing, and there’s lots of stuff going on. And I think can be fun that people see what goes behind the scenes.”
