Ultra Club Midtown, a two-acre pop-up padel attraction set on the future location of Miami’s Midtown Park, has been launched by Rosso Development and Midtown Development in collaboration with Ultra Padel. This project is a component of a $2 billion mixed-use project that would turn almost five acres in Midtown into a thriving center for luxury living, cultural engagement, and recreation.
With 11 outdoor courts and three kid-only courts, Ultra Club Midtown is poised to become the biggest padel club in the US. Along with carefully chosen food and drink options and community events, the facility will create a vibrant environment for both novice and experienced athletes.
A lifestyle and wellness vision
The founder and CEO of Rosso Development, Carlos Rosso, stressed the value of including community and wellness throughout the project. “Incorporating Ultra Padel strengthens our goal of developing lively, healthy, and engaged public areas,” he stated. With coaching and social opportunities that appeal to a diverse spectrum of players, the club is made to be inclusive.
Ultra Padel’s CEO, Guillermo Barragan, called the establishment a top-notch social center. “This state-of-the-art facility offers an inviting space to play, socialize, and elevate your game, catering to all skill levels,” he said.
Future construction in Midtown Park
The permanent Racquet & Padel Club, which will be constructed as part of the first phase of Midtown Park, is a preview of Ultra Club Midtown. The permanent facility will be the focal point of the neighborhood’s leisure options and include eight more courts. Head of Ultra Padel operations Nico Clerc referred to the club as “the social country club of the neighborhood,” emphasizing its influence on the local identity.
In addition, Midtown Park will have upscale apartments, skyscrapers, fine dining, pedestrian walkways, and green areas. Designed by Arquitectonica, Meyer Davis Studio, and Naturalficial, the first residential tower, Midtown Park Residences by Proper, will have 288 units and rise 28 floors. Over 40,000 square feet of private amenities, such as a yoga garden, wellness center, tropical pool deck, and well planned gathering areas, will be available to residents.
An audacious move for padel in the US
Miami is positioned as a major hub for padel in the US thanks to Ultra Club Midtown, while the sport continues to expand internationally. Padel’s growing popularity and capacity to change leisure culture in American cities are demonstrated by the club’s incorporation into a significant urban development. Ultra Club Midtown’s blend of sport, lifestyle, and design is poised to establish itself as a premier destination for both players and tourists.
