GRITTY Djokovic beats Del Potro

Novak Djokovic defeats once again Juan Martin Del Potro in Indian Wells.

The world no.2 defeated the Argentine two weeks ago in 3 sets in Acapulco, and he repeats himself on Tuesday in the desert.

The match

The Serbian sensation managed to overcome a slow start after he was broken in the very first game to break back in the 6th game of the opener (3-3).  After winning the first set (7-5), the world no.2 dropped his service again in the first game of the second set to be broken again in the 5th (1-4). Eventually, Nole recovered one break (2-4), but that was too late, and the Argentine won the second set (6-4).

The most important part of the match was when Djokovic managed to gain a break point in the 4th game of the decider with an array of sensational volleys. After losing that incredible point, Delpo dropped his serve (1-3), and his confidence went really south. From that moment, it was all about Djokovic that eventually won the match 7-5 4-6 6-1 after 2 hours and 17 minutes.
