Roger Federer is back to is stellar levels in the Indian Wells opener. The Swiss legend was stunned in the 3rd round in Dubai by Donskoy, and he was eager to show that that was just an episode. The Swiss was outstanding against Roberts to concede only three games in a contest that lasted just 51 minutes. The final result was 6-2 6-1. Roger won 53 points vs. Robert’s 35.

Next vs. Johnson
Roger will play another American, Steve Johnson, in the 3rd round. The head to head is 1-0 for Roger that has defeated Steve last year in the Wimbledon 4th round 6-2 6-3 7-5.
