Kyrgios, Zverev, Dimitrov ease to the third round in Indian Wells

No problems for Kyrgios, Zverev, Dimitrov in their first match in Indian Wells.

Kyrgios

Nick dismissed Horacio Zeballos 6-3 6-4 after playing an extremely tidy tennis. The Australian didn’t concede his serve for the entire match to break his opponent twice per set with a 100% break point conversion rate. The match ended after 71 minutes. Nick will play Alexander Zverev in he third round.

 

Zverev

Sascha had a tricky opening set against Facundo Bagnis to save 3 set points in a very long tiebreak. After winning the opener, the German won the decisive break in the second set in the 6th game (4-2). Finally, the youngster won the match 7-6 (10) 6-4 in 1 hour and 40 minutes. Kyrgios next.

 

Dimitrov

Grigor had a fantastic performance against former world no.8 Mikhail Youzhny. The match lasted eight games (4-4) before the Bulgarian won 8 consecutive games to seal the encounter. The final score was 6-4 6-0.  Grigor will face either Sock or Laaksonen in the third round.
