WHY I do not need a coach. KYRGIOS

Nick Kyrgios is one of the most talented players around, but there is a lot of talk about the possibility that he will squander his gift if he doesn’t hire a proper coach any soon.

Even if the Australian has matured a lot in the last few months, he still goes through big ups and downs. Last week Nick defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets to then lose soon after to (a good) Sam Querrey; if Kyrgios wants to achieve greatness, he needs to avoid these roller coasters, and a coach would give him the right stability.

During a recent interview with the ESPN, Nick explained why he thinks he doesn’t need a coach.

“Ummm, no, no-one as of yet,” Kyrgios commented “I’ve been thinking about it. But I think where my game is right now is pretty good.

I think coming off one of my greatest wins last week against Djokovic, doing that without a coach is, I think, a great accomplishment.”

Probably he would achieve even more with a proper coach…
