Raonic withdraws from Indian Wells; Del Potro now seeded

Bad news from Milos Raonic’s camp as the Canadian will not be able to compete in Indian Wells. Two weeks ago, Milos had to concede the Delray Beach final to Jack Sock because he couldn’t cope with a hamstring injury, and he hasn’t recovered from that.

Big drop in rankings?

Milos is currently ranked no.4, and he had 600 points to defend in Indian Wells where he was the 2016 runner-up. This means that Milos will lose at least one place in the rankings (probably more).

Del Potro will benefit from it as he will now be seeded.

NOT A GREAT MOMENT…
