Rafael Nadal has no problems in defeating Mischa Zverev in straight set during the Acapulco opener. The King of Clay is probably the worst customer for the German as Rafa is extremely comfortable in returning Mischa’s serve and Zverev’s natural way to play is to attack his opponents’ backhand (that would be Nadal’s forehand). Eventually, Rafa wrapped up the match after 77 minutes (6-4 6-3).
Next vs. Lorenzi
Rafa will play Paolo Lorenzi in the second round. The head to head is 3-0 for Rafa that has recently demolished the Italian in the Beijing 1st round (2016) 6-1 6-1.
