Novak Djokovic had a bumpy opener in Acapulco. The world no.2 had a smooth 6-3 2-0 lead against Martin Klizan when he suddenly lost four consecutive games (2-4). Eventually, the Serb found his way back to win the contest 6-3 7-6 (4).

Nole will play either Tiafoe or (most probably) Del Potro in the second round. That would be another interesting test.
