Raonic, Sock to play the Delray Beach final

Milos Raonic and Jack Sock will be the contenders for the Delray Beach title.

Raonic

Milos got to the final after he defeated Juan Martin del Potro 6-3 7-6(3). The Canadian was in firm control against Delpo; the only awkward moment for Milos was when he failed to serve out the match when he was leading 6-3 6-5. Eventually, the Canadian kept his cool to win the contest at the breaker after saving a set point.

Sock

Jack had a fantastic run in Delray Beach to reach the final without dropping a single set during the entire week. Sock defeated fellow American Donald Young in the semi-final 6-4 7-6 (2)

Sock has already won a title this year in Auckland, and it would be fantastic for him to clinch the second one on the home soil. The American commented

“I’m definitely playing with a lot of confidence this year. I started out the season with a title, which is the most ideal situation and gives you confidence for the rest of the tournaments. I feel strong mentally and physically, and like I have a clear game plan for what I’m doing out there.”

The head to head

Milos and Jack have played each other already ten times. The head to head is 8-2 for the Canadian, but Sock has won the last encounter in Shanghai 2016. The Canadian is the favorite, but everything can happen.
