Following her withdrawal from Wimbledon, Paola Badosa has offered an honest update about her physical condition. The Spanish tennis star revealed that her persistent back injury has not improved as hoped, forcing her to reassess her training and competition schedule. This latest setback continues a frustrating pattern of injuries that have hindered her progress since last season.

This was her post.

“Hi everyone, Been disconnected for a while but wanted to update you on my situation right now. I’ve been going through some tough moments lately…

Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with a tear on my psoas since before Wimbledon, and it’s going to keep me out of competition for a few weeks…These are really challenging times for me, but I’m staying hopeful that things will turn around soon and the light at the end of the tunnel will start to shine through. Thank you all for the immense support”
