Bianca Andreescu is the name of the moment on the WTA tour.
At just 19 years of age, the young Canadian has managed to shrug off her injury to the right shoulder that has sidelined her for months before reaching the final in the home tournament in Toronto.
Bianca is currently no.19 in the live rankings and if she wins the final in Toronto, she will be no.14 to have a good shot to qualify for the WTA Finals.
Andreescu’s coaching team
Bianca achieved these heights also because she has a fantastic team around her. The youngster has the full attention of Tennis Canada’s fitness coach Virginie Tremblay that is doing a tremendous job to keep her fit.
In addition, Bianca is partnering with Sylvain Bruneau that is pretty knowledgeable about coaching female players as he was appointed as the Fed Cup captain for Team Canada back in 2009.
Now 53, Sylvain has been working with Tennis Canada for 30 years, and he partnered with Simon Larose, Jocelyn Robichaud, and Frank Dancevic before leading the Fed Cup team.
Sylvain is now the proud coach of Bianca Andreescu, and it seems they are destined to achieve more and more with this partnership. The sky is the limit.
