INJURY. Bianca Andreescu shares how difficult is for her to play

Bianca talks about her mindset in dealing with injuries

Bianca Andreescu in action

Bianca Andreescu is having a sensational week in Toronto where she reached the final to put the local crowd on fire.

However, things are definitely not easy for the 19-year-old that has been sidelined for almost for months by a nasty injury to her shoulder.

Unfortunately, Bianca has been playing the Rogers Cup also with an injury to her right leg. It seemed that she was almost done in the quarters against Karolina Pliskova especially after she took a lengthy medical time out after she lost the set. However, as Bianca said it was time to either fight or to go home.

Bianca about recovering from her injury

During a press conference in Toronto, when asked about how tough is for her to find her way back after being out for so long, Bianca commented:

It’s not easy that’s for sure, but right now I’m just really happy with how my mind and my body is holding up.

And for my team, I’m so sorry guys we’re putting you through all of that and even myself I know that I’m not playing my best tennis right now. That’s why I think I’m getting upset during the matches, but I think now that I already played nine hours I’m starting to get my rhythm back.”

Next vs. Serena

Bianca will face Serena Williams in the final. They have never played each other so far. Injury or not, the Canadian will put everything into it.
