Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is about to start his run in Cincinnati where he will try to defend his title. The Serbian sensation is in great shape as he is firmly leading the ATP rankings after he defended his title in Wimbledon.

Later, Nole decided not to compete in Montreal to recharge his batteries and be ready for Cincinnati.

Nole had an extremely tough draw in Ohio where he may face Nick Kyrgios in the quarters after possibly play Sam Querrey and John Isner.

Kyrgios’ podcast vs. Djokovic

Earlier in the year, Nick had a rather controversial podcast in Rome when he slammed Verdasco, Nadal, and Djokovic. The Australian took aim at Djokovic’s celebration saying that he wants to beat him and then do the same celebration on court.

“Djokovic is not the GOAT”

During this podcast, Kyrgios also said that Djokovic could not be the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) since he never beat him and instead the best tennis in history for him remains Federer. Later, before the Wimbledon final, Nick twitted his support for Federer against Djokovic. That didn’t really work.
