Alexander Zverev didn’t have the smoothest run in Montpelier so far to reach the semi-final after winning two tough three setters. In the second round, the German defeated Bedene 7-5 3-6 6-4; yesterday he edged Chardy 6-4 4-6 6-2.  

The semi vs. Tsonga

Zverev will play Tsonga in the semi-final. The head to head is 1-0 for the Frenchman that defeated Sascha las year in Shanghai 6-7 (4) 6-2 7-5.

On the other side of the draw, we have an all-French final with Gasquet playing Paire.
