Murray to play the Davis Cup tie against France

Andy Murray has always been devoted to defending the colors of his country. The Brit has won 2 gold medals at the Olympics, and his support was essential to winning the Davis Cup in 2015.

Many were surprised after Andy declined to play the Davis Cup tie against Canada. Eventually, his team won the tie after Shapovalov was disqualified for hitting the umpire with a ball, but Team GB will need his best player if they want to beat France in the quarters.

I’ll look forward to playing. MURRAY

During a recent interview, Andy confirmed he will be available to play France in April (7th to 9th).

“My body’s pretty pleased I took some time off,” Murray commented. “I’ve had enough rest, and I’ll look forward to it. It’ll be tough. I assume they’ll probably put it on clay. Monte Carlo would be good.”
