Sofia Kenin overcomes Elina Svitolina 7-6² 6-4 in the quarter in Toronto on Friday. Kenin will try to go further in the tournament when he will face Bianca Vanessa Andreescu in the semifinal.

Svitolina was pretty sharp at the beginning of the set after breaking Kenin in the 1^st game (1-0) before consolidating her break and lead 4-0.
