The 2 GOATS Nadal, Djokovic to play for charity in Kazakhstan

Nadal and Djokovic to play a match for charity

There is good news for the sports enthusiasts because the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan recently confirmed that, world no. 1 Novak Djokovic and world no. 2 Rafael Nadal will play against one another at a charity match. The “Rafole” show will be witnessed on the 24th of October 7:00 PM, at the Arena of Bary’s, in Nur-Sultan. This particular event is known to present a unique opportunity to the young players of the country, residents of Nur-Sultan and the entire nation for attending a match between leading legends of the Tennis sport.

Both the Serb Tennis star and The Spaniard were supposed to face each other at an exhibition match in December last year, but Nadal suffered injuries and he could not participate. All the money raised from the sale of the tickets alongside the match proceeds will go to various philanthropic and charitable organizations.

How Nadal has fared against Djokovic in 2019?

In 2019 this year, GOAT players of Tennis, Nadal, and Novak have played twice against each other. The very first was when the Serb had steamrolled over Rafael, in Melbourne during the finals and came out to be the undisputed champion of Australian Open.

Next, Rafael had dismantled Djokovic at the finale of Rome Masters by ‘bageling’ the Serb in a premier set. Throughout their entire careers, both have played fifty-four matches in total against one another. However, The Serb is leading the head to head with twenty-eight wins over Nadal’s twenty-six.

An important thing to consider here is that it will not be the first time for Nadal to play in the capital of Kazakhstan. Because the Spaniard had a face-off with Jo-Wilfred Tsonga in 2014’s September at the Daulat National Center of Tennis.

Currently, Rafael is playing the Roger’s Cup 2019 in Montreal where both Federer and Novak are conspicuous absentees. And, the top-seed defending champion is set to play in the semi-finals against Stefanos Tsitsipas.

With Nole and Nadal on the court for the charity match on 24th October, it could be quite an electrifying moment for the fans to witness the players outplay one another.
