Nick Kyrgios has a fantastic start of his 2017 Davis Cup campaign after he defeated world No157 Jan Satral 6-2, 6-3, 6-2. The Australian was in full control of this 91 minutes’ match to blast 21 aces on the way.

Serve is my best weapon …

After the match, Nick commented

“That’s my main weapon. I’m always trying to develop that part of my game … that’s what I’m aiming to do every match.”

.. I had some nerves before the match

Then he added

“I had a week in Miami and flew back, so I didn’t have that long to prepare; about five days. There were some pre-match nerves. I haven’t played that many matches in 2017. It’s never easy playing a guy you don’t know that well. He had nothing to lose.”

Nick victory came after Jordan Thompson managed to overcome Jiri Vesely 6-3 6-3 6-4 in more than 2 hours.

Now Australia leads 2-0 and it is expected to win the tie without much trouble.
