Roger Federer has just won a fantastic 18^th slam in Melbourne, but the King is not done with it.

Even if Roger is sort of recovering from this incredible feat,  he hasn’t lost perspective to admit his surprise about the last major and what is next big target.

Roger has won 7 Wimbledon so far (same as Sampras) and he knows that the grass is his best surface for him. Last year Roger lost in the final in 5 sets against Raonic even if he wasn’t in his best form (especially with his knee). Therefore, Roger will have a huge focus on the grass court season to play Stuttgart, Halle and then the Championship.

During a recent interview, Roger commented

“[I want] Wimbledon over Roland Garros – yes. On the grass I’ve got a lot of tournaments there, I play Stuttgart and Halle. So, I guess Wimbledon, I know I have a better shot there. But at the French Open, if you’re not in the draw you can’t win it, so I hope to be in the draw this year, not like last year.

The US Open … I also think I have a good chance to do well there, but let’s enjoy this one first.”
