On the second day of the Pro Padel League Miami, four teams—the New York Atlantics, San Diego Stingrays, Flowrida Goats, and Cancun Waves—all recorded flawless 2-0 sweeps of their opponents in both the women’s and men’s divisions.

With Andrea Ustero and Ariana Sanchez crushing the Los Angeles Beat women’s pair 6-2, 6-2, the New York Atlantics established the tone early. In a dramatic second-set tiebreak, Lucas Campagnolo and Jon Sanz defeated Pablo Lijo and Alvaro Cepero of LA 6-2, 7-6, to seal the championship.

The San Diego Stingrays then put on a cool performance as Lucia Sainz and Veronica Virseda dominated their women’s doubles match, defeating Houston Volts players Lore Rufo and Marta Barrera 6-4, 6-1. Then, in the men’s doubles, Jairo Bautista and Alex Chozas won 7-6, 6-3 to complete the sweep.

Flowrida Goats shown tenacity and reliability. After Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea produced a strong 6-2, 6-4 victory, Pablo Cardona and Leandro Ausburger emerged victorious in a fiercely contested match to defeat Arkansas Matrix’s best men 7-6, 6-3.

With maybe the most lopsided game of the day, Cancun Waves made an impression. Franco Dal Bianco and Maxi Arce defeated their Canadian opponents 6-1, 6-2 in the men’s doubles, while Marina Lobo and Sofia Saiz swept the women’s division 6-2, 6-0.

Each match demonstrated excellent tactical accuracy and collaboration, indicating that the competition will only get more fierce as the tournament progresses.
