Evans started the set strong after breaking Nadal in the 1^st game (1-0). Nevertheless, the Spaniard managed to stage a great comeback to break Evans in the 6^th (3-3) game before winning the set at the tiebreak at 6 after he saved 2 set points when he was 4-6 down.

2^nd set.

Nadal had a pretty good kick start of the set after breaking Evans in the 1^st game (1-0).
