Due to the arrival of two new franchises and a growing fan base, the World Padel League is expected to return for its third season with a bang. The next edition, which is set to take place at the Nesco Center in Mumbai from August 12 to 16, promises five days of intense action with both up-and-coming Indian stars and top foreign talent.

The league is growing from four to six clubs after making a triumphant debut in India earlier this year, which reflects the game’s explosive rise in popularity there. In the last year, infrastructure and participation have more than doubled, indicating a change in India’s sports scene. 32 international athletes competed in the previous season; a larger and more varied lineup is anticipated for Season 3.

The goal of the organizers is to provide both beginners and die-hard fans with an experience of the highest caliber. Hemali Sharma, a co-founder of the league, emphasized the importance of this growth, pointing out that India is becoming a major padel growth hub in Asia.

In what is expected to be the most competitive season ever, the SG Pipers Cheetahs, who won the championship in the previous edition by defeating the Vernost Jaguars, will return to defend their title. The World Padel League is positioned to raise awareness of the sport and enthrall viewers throughout the region with its new teams, exciting rivalries, and lively environment.
