With the official opening of three additional padel courts, Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, Virginia, has further expanded its already remarkable selection of racquet sports. To introduce visitors and members to the rapidly expanding sport, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and exhibition matches were held on June 16 in conjunction with the grand opening. Free beginner clinics were also provided.

These courts, which have “infinity extreme” features that can resist winds of up to 160 miles per hour, are the first of their sort in the United States. The resort’s dedication to innovation and ambition to remain ahead of new developments in leisure activities are reflected in the extension.

Padel, a combination between squash and tennis, has become more popular around the world, with over 30 million players in 130 countries. In addition to delivering nationally ranked tennis and pickleball programs, Boar’s Head Resort is expanding its Sports Club offerings with the addition of new courts.

Through the resort’s website or front desk, visitors and members can now schedule court time, register for clinics, and take part in summer programs. Members can use the court for free until June 30. After then, regular rates will be charged.

With this debut, Boar’s Head Resort solidifies its reputation as a top travel destination for wellness seekers, sports fans, and tourists seeking an exciting and captivating experience.
