INJURY CONCERNS. The ankle looks good. MURRAY

Andy Murray had a fantastic win against Andrey Rublev to dismantle the Russian 6-3 6-0 6-2 in the Australian Open second round. Unfortunately, during the third set, Andy had a bad fall, and at the beginning, he was extremely concerned to mutter “It’s not good news.”

Luckily, the world no.1 was more optimistic after the match to say

“It’s just a little bit sore, it’s not too serious but I definitely rolled it a bit. I’ll make sure I get some ice on it.

I was moving OK at the end which is positiveSometimes if you roll your ankle and it feels bad, you can’t put weight on it but I could put weight on it so I’m sure it’ll be fine.”

Next vs. Querrey

Andy had a rather good draw to play Sam Querry in the third round. The American is definitely not playing the best tennis of his career, and Andy has 6-1 win-loss record against him. There are reasons to be optimistic in Andy’s camp.
