Federer vs. Nadal will come down as one of the most interesting rivalries in tennis history. They have won 31 slams combined (17 Roger, 14 Rafa) and, among many battles, they have played arguably the best tennis match in history (the 2008 Wimbledon final). Both Rafa and Roger are in Melbourne on the comeback trail, and both aim at winning another slam.

During a recent interview, Rafa disclosed his pleasure at seeing the Maestro back at great levels.
The Mallorcan commented
“The good thing is that Roger is back on tour after probably his first important injury. That’s tough but he looks great. He’s played some good matches there in Perth Hopman Cup] so I’m very happy for him.”
Roger is currently ranked no.17 while Rafa is no.9. Potentially they could clash in the Australian Open 3rd round. It would be great seeing them playing the final instead.
