I didn’t retire because I know I can beat the best. NADAL

Rafael Nadal has displayed some vintage tennis at the beginning of this season. After winning the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, Rafa showed he still possesses his grit in Brisbane when he bowed only in 3 sets to a solid Milos Raonic.

WHY I didn’t retire. NADAL

The Spaniard is convinced that he still has the tennis to challenge the very best and that is the reason why he is trying to stage another fantastic comeback.

During a recent interview in Sydney, Rafa commented

“If I believed that if I could not have this chance during this next 11 months, I would be home fishing. My real goal is to try to compete for the important things and to compete for the important things I know I have to try to beat [the best].

If I am working hard and I have the motivation and passion to keep going, I feel that if I am happy and I can work the way I want to be, I can be.”
