Dayana Yastremska is ready to start again another run at the Rogers Cup. The upcoming Ukrainian hasn’t played for almost 1 month since she lost to Shai Zhang i in the 4th round in Wimbledon (8th of July).
Currently ranked no.33, Dayana has already won 2 tournaments this year in Huan Hin and Strasbourg.
Yastremska will start her campaign in Toronto agaisnt the world no.14 Johanna Konta. The head to head is 1-0 for the Brit that defeated Dayana this year 6-2 6-4 in the 1st round in Eastbourne.
