Emma Raducanu is set to compete in doubles at the WTA 500 tournament in Queen’s Club, marking her first appearance in a doubles event since 2022. The 2021 US Open champion will partner with Katie Boulter, the top-ranked British female tennis player, in the prestigious grass-court tournament.

Raducanu’s return to doubles comes after the singles draw was released, where she was paired against a qualifier in the first round. Shortly after, the doubles draw revealed that she had signed up for the event, adding another challenge to her schedule.

In the opening round, Raducanu and Boulter will face Xinyu Jiang and Fang-Hsien Wu, both ranked inside the top 30 in doubles. The British duo will rely on their familiarity with grass courts to gain an advantage against their experienced opponents.

Raducanu expressed excitement about competing in front of home fans, highlighting her comfort in familiar surroundings. She is scheduled to participate in three British tournaments

—Queen’s, Eastbourne, and Wimbledon—along with a non-British grass event in Berlin.

Her decision to enter the doubles competition adds another dimension to her grass-court season, as she looks to build momentum ahead of Wimbledon. Fans will be eager to see how Raducanu and Boulter perform together in this highly anticipated event.
