Nick Kyrgios is having one of the best weeks of his quirky career in Washington.
The Australian reached the semifinal at the Citi Open without dropping a single set on the way and he defeated an in-form Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final 4 after saving 1 match point.
Ranking projections
Nick is getting many additional points from this event since last year he didn’t compete in this event. In fact, while the Australian is currently ranked no.52, he is no.34 in the live rankings. If Kyrgios beats Medvedev in the final, he is projected to be ranked no.27.
Head to head Kyrgios vs. Medvedev
This will be only the 2nd time that Nock and Daniel lock horns on the main circuit after the Australian defeated the Russian in the first round in Rome in 3 sets (6-3 3-6 6-3).
