The Hopman Cup is one of the nicest and ‘happy’ exhibitions around the world where the players and the public can enjoy lots of ‘interesting moments.’
Something really weird and funny happened on Monday when the USA was facing the Czech Republic. Sock and Vandeweghe had already won the tie (2-0), and they were playing the mixed doubles (death rubber). With the result already secured, all players made things easy going with lots of jokes. The funniest one was when Coco Vandeweghe gave her racket to a linesman that was extremely excited about having the chance to serve in front of a huge crowd. Eventually, things got a bit sound, and the linesman tumbled when serving.
That was a good laugh.
