At its new location along Cutten Road in northwest Houston, Racket Social Club plans to open two pickleball courts and four padel courts. The facility offers competitive training, social activities, and a summer camp for kids in an effort to provide a friendly environment for players of all skill levels.
The additional courts will be a part of a larger initiative to expand racket sports in the area, according to the club’s director, Alberto Fernandez de Castillejo. To ensure that guests have all they need to enjoy the game, the facility will also offer a shop with clothing, equipment, and gear rentals in addition to the courts.
With flexible schedule, the business will be open weekdays and weekends from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The club is still growing around the United States, with locations currently in Georgia and Colorado.
The opening of pickleball and padel courts in Houston is a response to the growing need for easily accessible, top-notch playing areas, as these sports gain popularity. It is anticipated that the club’s dedication to creating a lively sports community will draw both seasoned athletes and beginners who are keen to try these exciting racket sports.
