A few weeks ago, Rafael Nadal stated that he wasn’t ready yet to play singles. Yesterday in Abu Dhabi, he made it clear that he is now 100% ready.
The Spanish sensation demolished Tomas Berdych 6-0 6-4 in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship quarter-final. Rafa looked incredible sharp to concede the first game only early in the second set. After being 3-4 for down in the second part of the match, the Spaniard had no problems in winning the following three games. Rafa will now face world no.3 Milos Raonic for a place in the final.
In the other side of the draw, Andy Murray will play David Goffin in the semi-final after the Belgium beat Tsonga 7-6 6-4.
