Jannik Sinner will step onto the Philippe Chatrier court on Monday, May 26, at 20:15 for his first match at this year’s Roland Garros against Arthur Rinderknech. The Italian, ranked number one in the world, will be looking to assert his dominance against the Frenchman, who sits at number 72 in the ATP rankings. Carlos Alcaraz, the defending champion, will begin his tournament earlier in the day with his match against Giulio Zeppieri. The Italian lucky loser joined the draw following Kei Nishikori’s withdrawal. The match will be the second of the day on the Suzanne Lenglen court, beginning at 11:00.
