To increase chances for women and girls in the sport, Padel Australia and Empower Padel have partnered to offer a series of events. Beginning on July 19, the partnership will launch three significant events throughout Australia, with tournaments in Brisbane and Albury to follow.
“Three Cities, One Movement,” an effort created by women for women, provides networking opportunities, social gaming, rewards, and entry-level coaching. Dulcie Davies, marketing manager for Tennis Australia, stressed the value of establishing areas where women may gain self-esteem and take pleasure in the game in a nurturing setting.
These competitions give ladies a thrilling introduction to a quick, enjoyable, and simple activity. “They provide a platform for women to develop their networks, gain self-assurance, and simply enjoy themselves,” stated Dulcie Davies, Marketing Manager at Tennis Australia.
“More avenues and opportunities for women to enter Padel at the grassroots and professional levels will be provided by our collaboration with Empower Padel.”
The goal of Empower Padel is to give female players opportunities at the amateur and professional levels. This goal is supported by the collaboration with Padel Australia, which guarantees more women have access to competitive play and organized training.
Given how quickly padel is becoming more and more popular around the world, these competitions are a big step towards bringing the sport to Australia. Through Padel Australia’s official website, players and enthusiasts can sign up for the events and find out more information about the program.
