I will be fit and ready for Brisbane. NADAL

A few days ago, Rafael Nadal cast some doubts about this fitness after he stated that he wasn’t ready to play singles.

That statement sent shockwaves to his fans, but fortunately, now the Spaniard confirms that he will be fine for the first tournament of the year.

I am going to be ready

During a recent interview, Rafa stated

“I am ready to play in Brisbane. I hope to be 100 per cent ready to play at a good level in Brisbane. I feel I am healthy enough and I am very excited to be coming to Brisbane for the first time in my life.’’

I am working hard, enough to be competitive. That’s my main thing — to be competitive. I need a little luck at the beginning and play matches because I didn’t play much for the last four months.

I need matches to confident and for important matches later. I am happy with the way I’m practicing.’’

The ATP250 in Brisbane will be held from the 1st to the 7th of January. The defending champion is Milos Raonic that last year defeated Roger Federer in the final.
