Petra Kvitova hit the headlines after a terrible experience.
The two-times Wimbledon champion has been attacked at home this morning in the town of Prostejov to suffer a left-hand injury.
Not pleasant, but behind me
Fortunately, Petra hasn’t sustained any life-threating injury to reassure everyone and say
“Thank you all for your messages and support. What happened to me, it was certainly not pleasant, but it’s behind me.
I have the best care and I’m in contact with my loved ones. Thanks again for thinking of me. Don’t worry about me! Petra.”
Petra withdrew few hours before from the Hopman Cup citing a foot injury. She hasn’t been too lucky recently.

not as quickly as we would have liked. The Hopman Cup is a fantastic event and I’m sorry I won’t be able to represent my country there (2/2)
