Amanda Anisimova is about to start her run in San Jose where she is seeded no.4.
The American starlet is one of the most interesting players on the WTA tour as at just 17 years of age is already able to compete with the very best. Amanda impressed when she reached the semifinal at the Roland Garros before losing in 3 sets to the Ashleigh Barty that eventually won the all thing.
Later Anisimova had a not so great stint on grass after she reached only the quarters in Mallorca and the 2nd round in Wimbledon.
