WHY Federer is the greatest of the all-time. MCENROE

John McEnroe has always been a huge fan of Rafael Nadal even if his aggressive tennis was entirely different from the one played by the Mallorcan. The American was in love with Rafa’s determination and his “never give up” attitude.

Now John has to admit that at the end of the day the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) is Roger Federer.

According to John, consistency is the key. The America commented

“Federer overall, consistency-wise, is the best player ever. If you put Nadal, who is to me, the other guy. Those two if they played one-on-one and both guys were playing their best, I would say Nadal matches up better with Federer.”

Talking about the near future, McEnroe added

“There’s a void that’s about to occur because of what’s happened with (Roger) Federer and (Rafael) Nadal. I mean, they’re at the end, right? You can’t imagine them going on more than a year or two. Djokovic, Murray are the two best, but they’re not getting younger. I know 29 sounds young, but they’re going to have another couple years, you anticipate.”

What if Rafa rebounds to win three more slams to make it even with Roger?
