Novak Djokovic is set to compete in the ATP 250 event in Geneva as he looks to sharpen his form ahead of Roland Garros. The Serbian star, who has struggled with early exits in recent clay tournaments, has opted to play in Switzerland to gain more match experience before the French Open.
As the second seed, Djokovic receives a bye in the first round. His opening match will be against either Marton Fucsovics or Zizou Bergs, both of whom have shown solid performances on clay. A potential quarterfinal clash could see him face Matteo Arnaldi, Fabian Marozsan, or Hugo Gaston, with Arnaldi having defeated him in Madrid earlier this season.
The semifinal presents another challenge, with possible opponents including Tomas Machac, Alexei Popyrin, Nicolás Jarry, or Dušan Lajovic. Machac, who reached the final in Geneva last year, could be a tough competitor if he advances.
Should Djokovic reach the final, he may face top seed Taylor Fritz, Karen Khachanov, or Hubert Hurkacz. Fritz has been in strong form, while Hurkacz recently impressed with a deep run in Rome.
With Geneva serving as a crucial warm-up event, Djokovic will aim to regain confidence and rhythm before heading to Paris. His draw presents a mix of familiar rivals and rising talents, making his journey to the title an intriguing one to follow.
