Murray named 2016 ITF World Champion

Andy Murray keeps on collecting awards after his phenomenal year.

The world no.1 has recently been named as the best UK’s athlete in history; he was appointed as the top man at the Scottish Sports Awards; he is the top favorite to win for the third time the BBC Sports Personality of the year; he has a shot at the knighthood, and now he is named 2016 ITF World Champion.

Andy receives the award alongside Angelique Kerber and his brother (doubles). The Brit commented

“It means a lot to me to be named ITF World Champion. I have had such a memorable year, winning again at Wimbledon, retaining my Olympic title, and clinching the year-end No. 1 ranking in the last match of the season.

It is particularly special with my brother Jamie also becoming World Champion.”
