Kristina “Kiki” Mladenovic is rising back in the rankings after a couple of rough seasons.
The Frenchwoman broke in the top10 back in 2017, but from that moment, she endured a long period of “bad results.” However, things started to change as soon as she started her partnership with Naomi Osaka’s former coach Sascha Bajin.
Currently ranked no.49, Kiki is now in Washington where she reached the second round after she defeated Shelby Rogers 6-4 6-4 in the opening match.
